This easy SnapTite plastic model kit by Revell builds a replica of the NASA space shuttle. The Space Shuttle was developed by NASA as the first reuseable U.S. space vehicle. The entire Space Shuttle system consists of a winged orbiter, two solid-rocket boosters, and an external fuel tank. After four orbital space flights (1981 - 82) of the space shuttle Columbia, operational flights began in Nov. 1982. No gluing and no painting! The 27 pieces just snap together! The body is molded in white and the kit includes peel 'n stick decals that you apply. Model length is 7 3/16" . The wingspan is 4 3/4". The scale is 1:200. Ages 8 and up. |
