This is an easy, build-it-yourself, working electric motor.
Educational!
Demonstrates how an electric motor works! Electricity provided by a battery runs through the coil of wire, and a magnetic field is formed. The coil pushes away from the ceramic magnet with enough force to turn it all the way around. As the coil turns around, it becomes charged again and gets another push. This process happens again and again to keep the motor turning.
Requires 1 "D" Battery.
Ages 8 and up.
